GAME CORNERS IN THE ENGLISH CLASS

Multiple resources are used for the English class. One of them is Game corners where kids can play different games and take the time they need for each one, as long as they learn English and have fun.

ARTS AND CRAFTS WORKS

During the first term, we made different bookmarks for our diaries and the books we read in the morning. Moreover, we worked on free projects as you can see at the photos below.

OUR LANGUAGE ASSISTANT IS COMING TO PARC DE L'AIGUA

We are very excited with the arrival of our English language assistant, Artemis Stivaktaki. She currently lives in Cyprus but she was born in Crete, an island in Greece. She studied primary education and continued with a master’s degree in cultural dimensions in education, so she will be very helpful in our daily work at school.

Thanks to all the families that will provide accommodation and collaboration during her stay in Lleida. This traineeship will be absolutely a great experience for Artemis and for Escola Parc de l’Aigua.

INTRODUCTION TO WRITING IN ENGLISH

In our first term in the new cycle, we started to write in English. Before writing, we revised the colours and we learned the structures “It is a” (to describe only one thing) and “They are” (to describe more than one thing). Then, after different games and activities, we were ready to start writing! We are just at the beginning but we write very well, we couldn’t be more engaged! Congratulations third graders!!

Dinosaurs Project in Physical Education

6TH GRADE STUDENTS IN THE THEATRE: “ROBIN HOOD”

On Thursday, the 30th of October we went to Teatre l'Escorxador to see a theatre play called Robin Hood. It was an English play and we met people from other schools.

It was quite funny and easy to understand. Also, we could participate during the play.
