“GUIDED VISIT” BY ELENA ALONSO INSPIRES OUR WORK IN ARTS&CRAFTS

This term we visited the museum La Panera and the Dipòsit de l’Aigua. There, we learnt about the artist Elena Alonso and her piece of work. Later, based on the same idea we developed a new project in Arts & Crafts: to transform an old building into a new piece of art.
Thus, the students picked up a famous building such as the Eiffel Tower, the Empire States, the Big Ben, the Statue of Liberty and the Colosseum. They mounted a 3D model and modified it in order to create a new different structure. Finally, the students used many materials to make a Texture Collage for the cover of their Art Notebook.

Moreover, we made other projects as you can see in the photos below.

ENGLISH THEATRE AT SCHOOL

The 2nd of March, the children enjoyed a lot watching a theatre play. Ruskus Patruskus came to Parc de l’Aigua school to do “Let’s go to the farm” for the younger kids and “It’s not Rocket Science” for 3rd and 4th Grade students. Both were really funny, thanks Ruskus!
